Jack Shewchuk

1984 Inductee – Athlete, Hockey

Jack Shewchuk Shewchuk was a Brantford native who played junior hockey for the Sudbury Wolves as well as the Copper Cliff Redmen. He was signed by the Boston Bruins of the National Hockey League (NHL) in 1937, and was part of the team that won the Stanley Cup in 1938-39 and 1940-41. He retired from the NHL in 1948 and returned to Brantford where he remained involved in the sport for many years, as both a player and coach.
