This Hockey Hall of Famer was once the Referee-In-Chief of the Pacific Coast Hockey League and later the Referee-In-Chief of the National Hockey League. He earned the nickname "Iron Man of Hockey" for his ability to work four or five games a week in different cities across the North America.
