Doug Jarvis

Doug Jarvis 1984 Inductee – Athlete, Hockey

Jarvis played in the National Hockey League (NHL) with the Montreal Canadiens, Washington Capitals, and Hartford Whalers. He holds the record for the most consecutive games played in the NHL (964). Between 1975 and 1987, Jarvis never missed a regular season game, and once his impressive NHL career as a player ended he turned to coaching.

    Montreal Canadiens Hockey Jersey

    Doug Jarvis was a member of the Montreal Canadiens hockey team from 1975 to 1982. Originally drafted by the Toronto Maple Leafs, he was soon traded to Montreal. While there, he took home four Stanley Cups and broke the 20 goal mark for his first time.
