Frank Bricker

1984 Inductee – Athlete, Boxing

Frank Bricker Bricker was born in 1918, and at 12 years old he put on his first boxing gloves. By 1938 he turned professional, and in 1942 he won the Canadian Army’s Welterweight Championship. Throughout his boxing career he was known for his sportsman-like conduct. Bricker organized a Brantford boxing club for young men, here he became a mentor and great coach who trained many champions.
