2015 Inductee – Athlete, Swimming

Tanya Hunks A competitive swimmer at age eight, Tanya Hunks became a member of the Canadian National Swim Team in 2001 until she retired from an impressive swimming career in 2011. Her successful career has led Tanya to 20 Canadian National Championships, a 2006 bronze medal at the Pan Pacifica Championships, a bronze medal at the 2007 Pan Am Games, and gold and bronze medals at the 2009 FINA Swimming World Cup. Tanya has also proudly completed as a member of the Canadian Olympic Swim Team in the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, China and is the current record holder in the 400 Individual Medley (25m and 50m).
