Susan Smith

1993 Inductee – Athletics, Swimming

Smith competed internationally on Canada’s National Swim Team for persons with Cerebral Palsy, from 1981 to 1985, winning multiple medals including gold at the U.S. Games in 1983. She set records in the 50m and 100m backstroke and won many awards, including the Edna Memorial Trophy Award which honoured her as Ontario’s most outstanding athlete with Cerebral Palsy.
