Ross Powless

Ross Powless Powless is credited with helping popularize Box Lacrosse (indoor lacrosse) in the 1950s. He won four Mann Cups with the Peterborough Timbermen, Most Valuable Player award in 1953, and two Tom Longboat Awards as best First Nations athlete in Canada. Ross and his son are the only father and son duo inducted into the Canadian Lacrosse Hall of Fame.
