Joe Pikula

In Pikula’s last year of high school he attended the Hamilton Tiger-Cats’ rookie camp as an uninvited walk-on, and as a result of his performance was asked to attend the main camp. He was a strong defensive tackle player who signed with the team as the youngest player (age 19), in 1963. Pikula was one of only a few teenagers to ever play on a Grey Cup Championship winning team.
