John Lockington

This Brantford born centre fielder played a key role on the baseball diamond as an athlete as well as a coach and mentor. He is remembered as being an innovative base-runner and stolen base leader. Some of his career highlights include his team capturing the Canadian and World Amateur Crowns and winning the first Brantford Red Sox Intercountry Championship.

Baseball Glove

John Lockington wore this baseball glove during his long career in the sport. He was influential as both a player and a coach locally in Brantford as well as in Canada and Internationally. His played on the first Brantford Red Sox team to win an Intercounty Baseball League Championship and the Canadian and World Amateur Crowns.
