Jennifer Kirby

Jennifer Kirby is a distinguished Canadian professional golfer from Paris, Ontario, with a decorated career spanning junior, amateur, and professional levels. She started her golfing journey at Oaks of St. George before moving to Brantford Golf & Country Club. 

Kirby’s amateur career was marked by significant achievements. She represented Canada as a member of Team Canada for eight years, competing in the 2010 and 2012 World Amateur Championships, three British Amateur Championships and the 2010 Copa de las Americas. In 2009, she became the only female golfer in Canadian history to win the Ontario Junior Girls Championship, Ontario Women's Amateur Championship, Canadian Junior Championship, and the Canadian Women's Amateur Championship in the same year. That same year, she also won the 2009 Toronto Star Women’s Amateur Championship. In 2010, she defended her title winning the Ontario Women’s Amateur Championship for a second time.

Throughout her collegiate career at the University of Alabama, Kirby further solidified her reputation as an elite golfer. Over her four years, she accumulated multiple accolades, including SEC Academic Honors, 4x Academic All-American, and 2012 First Team All-American. She played a crucial role in Alabama’s first NCAA National Championship victory in 2012 and contributed to two SEC Team Championships (2010, 2013). She also claimed victory at the 2012 Liz Murphy Collegiate Tournament. Additionally, she qualified and competed in three U.S. Junior Girls Championships, three U.S. Women’s Amateurs, reaching the semifinals in 2010. She also qualified and competed in the 2010 U.S. Women's Open at the Oakmont Country Club and 2011 U.S. Women's Open at Broadmoor Golf Club.

Turning professional in 2013, Kirby made an immediate impact by winning her debut event on the CN Canadian Women’s Tour. She secured LPGA Tour status after finishing 5th at LPGA Q-School and competed at the highest levels of women’s golf, including the U.S. Women’s Open. Throughout her career, she has played on both the LPGA and Symetra Tours, further establishing herself as one of Canada’s top female golfers.
