Edith Hayman At the age of 18, Edith Hayman picked up a badminton racket for the first time and had a natural connection with the sport. An award-winning player, Hayman used her skills to become a highly celebrated and recognized coach, winning honours such as the Olympic Commemorative Medal for Coach of the Year in 1987 and the Canada Coaching Award.
