1995 Brantford Working at itThe Ontario B softball team, comprised of 13 athletes from Brantford, won the gold medal at the Canadian Special Olympics Summer Games held in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Ontario B defeated New Brunswick 32 to 21 in the championship game.

Ontario B started the competition by playing two seeding games. The team defeated New Brunswick 4 to 1 and Manitoba 6 to 3. Ontario B was placed in the Keltic B division for round-robin games. They started with a 10 to 4 loss to British Columbia in a game in which Ontario B lost a 12 run fourth inning due to a curfew.

Ontario B defeated Manitoba 23 to 7 in the second round but lost 21 to 10 to New Brunswick in the third round. Ontario B then defeated British Columbia 18 to 7 in a semi-final game.
