1971 Brantford ForestersBrantford dominated the Niagara League with Coach Floyd Baetz at the helm and was assisted by a most competent executive and assistants which included the colourful Mike King. They ended in first place in the Niagara District League and set a record of 31 wins and scored 245 goals. Goalies Bob Aitken and Stan Worosz set records in goal over the regular season.

  • Playoff first round – Brantford wins 4 games to 0 vs. Port Colborne. 
  • Playoff second round – Brantford wins 4 games to 1 vs. Dundas (Former Junior Forester coach Gil Eyre and several former Foresters were on the Dundas team).
  • Brantford defeated Midland Flyers to win the Ontario Championship 4 games to 2. This was Brantford’s fifth Ontario Hockey Association (OHA) Championship.
