Max Claydon

Max ClaydonClaydon started a Bantam level lacrosse league at the Arctic Arena which included Brantford, Paris and Six Nations. Aided by Coach Tom Martin, they formed a midget lacrosse team that won the OMLA in 1961. He was also a member of the original executive of Brantford Minor Lacrosse. Claydon was instrumental in working with the City of Brantford’s Parks & Recreation department to erect a ‘box’ at Lions Park for the 1963 Juvenile team and was honoured by Brantford Wolves Lacrosse in 1985

Claydon passed away in 1993. In 2005 he was recognized by being added to the Honour Roll of Brantford and Area Sports Hall of Recognition for his dedication and service with Brantford Minor Lacrosse.
