Steve Brown

1993 Honouree – Builder, Football

Steve Brown was the Founding President of the Brantford Football Association in 1960, the Bisons Junior Football Club in 1964, and Minor Football Brantford in 1973. In 1967 and 1968 he was also the President of the Junior Ontario Rugby – Football Union and represented amateur football during the formation of Sport Ontario. Steve served as President of the Brantford Minor Sports Association in 1975 and 1976 and was Chair of the 1987 Canadian Games for the Physically Disabled. Steve was a proud member of the Steering Committee to establish the Sports Hall of Recognition in 1983, and chaired the Bisons Alumni Fundraising Committee to construct a permanent home for the Hall.
