Ross Enslev

2001 Honouree – Builder, Basketball

Ross Enslev Ross Enslev has been a committed coach and administrator of sport in Brantford for 50 years and was inducted into the Sports Hall in 2001. Enslev founded Briers Girls Basketball in 1983. He coached provincial Tier 1 champions in 1985, 1990 and 1995 with the Briers winning the Eastern Canadian title the same year. In school sport, Enslev coached numerous city and Central Western Ontario Secondary Schools Association (CWOSSA) champs. Upon retirement in 2006, he received the Colin Hood Lifetime Service Award. Enslev has also been involved in baseball, hockey, track and field, cross country and is still active in coaching basketball at Brantford Collegiate Institute (BCI) in Brantford.
