Terry Clark In 1950, Harvey M. Barnes and three of his friends got together and formed an executive for what is now the Brantford Minor Baseball Association (BMBA). Barnes continued as secretary of the executive until the mid-sixties and spent long hours handwriting hundreds of letters to prospective sponsors. Not only did Barnes have many executive duties, he also was the manager for many different ball teams. After Barnes retirement from the BMBA, he continued to be a part of the baseball communities. He enjoyed watching his son, his grandsons and the hundreds of other children enjoying the game of baseball.
