2026 Induction Ceremony
Celebrate the newest Inductees and Honourees to the Brantford and Area Sports Hall of Recognition who have made significant and exemplary contributions to the community and their respective sport.
Please save the date to attend the 2026 Induction Ceremony on Wednesday, June 10, 2026 at 6:00 p.m.

- Ceremony: 6:30 p.m.
- Location: Best Western Brantford Hotel and Conference Centre, 19 Holiday Drive, Brantford
More details and ticketing information will follow in the coming weeks. The 2026 Induction Class will be officially announced later this spring.
The Brantford and Area Sports Hall of Recognition proudly recognizes hometown athletes and sport builders who have achieved the highest standards of excellence in their chosen sport and whose contributions have been exemplary and significant.
Through features such as Inductee artefact and memorabilia displays, Honour Wall of Recognition, Interactive Inductee Zone, Trivia Game, Broadcast Booth and Wayne Gretzky tribute area, the Sports Hall, located inside the Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre, is able to share these achievements with our community for generations to come. If you know of an athlete, builder or team that deserves to be nominated as an Inductee or Honouree into the Brantford and Area Sports Hall of Recognition, please visit the Nominations page to learn how. Nominations will be accepted until September 1 of the year prior to the Induction Ceremony.
